AI was the buzz word of the week and the buzz word of the 2020s for that matter. But unlike previous things like bitcoin or web3, This one took off, took off fast and has so many real world applications that are  already out and solving real world problems. So just  familiarize yourself and more importantly your kids, your organization, your business with it and the tools around it. Because it's not going anywhere. A simple YouTube search is a good place to start. You don't have to  and can't know everything, just a little is enough. And More importantly,  use the tools. Just like how the organization or person that  doesn't know how to use computers is at a disadvantage in this day and age, the organization that  doesn't know how to utilize these AI tools might be at a disadvantage in 2 or 3 years from now.. And playing catch never really plays out well. Ask how your organization can utilize these tools to solve some of your problems or make your operation...

Honestly, What the fuck are we even doing? What has social media has evolved. Some time back I watched Jack Conte's (CEO of Patreon) SXSW 2024 Keynote talk, where he discusses the demise of the 'Follower' and the future of creativity on the web.  It really put the sadness of social media into perspective.  I still can't wrap my head around how you can have over 500 friends and followers, post something, and it only gets shown to 8 people (or sometimes none at all). And thats most platforms, twitter , facebook, name it. It's disheartening that platforms designed to connect us evolved to do the opposite years down the road. I don't have much more to add; Jack articulates it far better.
